Join us on an exciting journey as we explore the diverse landscapes, people, and traditions of our world! This interactive class combines geography, history, and cultural studies, helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world and its many unique societies. Through maps, projects, hands-on activities, and discussions, students will build essential geography skills while also discovering the traditions, languages, food, and customs that shape each region.
Our curriculum follows a three-year rotating cycle, so students can take the class for up to three years without repeating material:
Each year, students will explore physical geography, major landmarks, and ecosystems, as well as how people in different regions live, work, and celebrate. Whether it’s studying indigenous traditions, exploring world religions, or tasting foods from different cultures, students will leave this class with a greater appreciation for the rich diversity of our planet. Whether you're new to the class or returning for another year, there’s always something new to discover in World Geography & Cultures!
