What is a learning pod?

 A learning pod is a small, instructor-led group where children engage in focused, personalized education. These pods can vary in structure— for example some may meet multiple days a week, covering all core and enrichment subjects for a small group of 4th graders, while others may gather once a week for a deep dive into a single subject like science, writing, or music. The flexibility allows independent instructors to tailor lessons to students' needs, fostering a collaborative, engaging, and supportive learning environment. The cost will vary greatly depending on what the  Learning Pod will be covering, the cost is set by the independent instructor.

All Learning Pod Instructors are required to pass a background check. However, Alliance does not regulate the material each instructor teaches, we do share the syllabus the teacher is planning to use, however we suggest you direct your questions to the Pod provider directly.
